Wootton Building Services Ltd. was established in 2013 by Wayne Bessell.

After spending time within the insurance sector as a Claims Adviser and then Loss Adjuster, Wayne joined the family business as a decorator, before moving into Facilities Management.

After managing a mobile team of engineers and overseeing both project work and the day to day management of commercial properties on behalf of managing agents, he decided he would like to undertake project work as a subcontractor to the Facilities Management sector.
Work and client base has steadily grown since 2013.

In 2018 the decorators trained with Paint Tech Academy in the application of airless spray paint and HVLP, LVLP spray systems.

In 2020, Wootton Building Services Ltd. trained with Corksol UK and gained the prestigious approved applicator status for the spray application of Thermocork decorative cork based render coatings, a product endorsed and championed by Kevin McCloud of TV’s “Grand Designs”.
Projects have been successfully delivered for clients such as: Lancer Scott, 21st Century Building Services, Iam Compliance and Woodpecker Carpentry & Building Ltd (to name but a few) on buildings ranging from Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground in Bristol and Sony Europe HQ in Weybridge to Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Cardiff city centre.

Residential projects range from new developments in the South West to renovation works at the listed St. Catherine’s Court, Bath (once the home of Jane Seymour and featured by Robbie Williams on the first episode of MTV Cribs UK).

In 2020 WBS began to solely focus on the application of SprayCork and the business is now providing ecological and sustainable coatings to the commercial and residential sectors.
